At universities, colleges, technical and vocational schools, students with an IEP or 504 may be able to use some of the high school accommodations that are written in the IEP or 504 plans. Each institution has a disability resource or services center. Once enrolled in a college, plan to meet with the DSS or DRC to identify which accommodations may be used. Commonly accepted accommodations are extended time on tests and testing in a quiet, non-distractible location. Click below for more information about Bellevue College's Disability Resource Center.
